I knew Margi in high school where we dazzled the world with our theater skills (okay, she dazzled with her amazing dancing skills, but I was a decent second row chorus girl!) and hadn’t seen her since I graduated, so I was thrilled that we reconnected (via Facebook of course) in time for me to get to shoot her amazing wedding this summer! Margi and Travis met through work and are so very cute together – relaxed, comfortable and always ready to laugh and throw down for a dance party. Their wedding day was gorgeous and warm, a lovely surprise, even in Seattle summers. We started in Ballard for getting ready before heading to the Ballard Locks for photos with their hilariously fun bridal party. This group was really up for anything we threw at them and we so enjoyed it! From there we hit their reception venue at the Great Hall at Greenlake for couples portraits before their ceremony at a lovely little Eastlake park. After that, it was time to party at the Great Hall! Between a dance entrance and beautiful first dance, I don’t think Margi and Travis stopped dancing once the music started! And their photo booth – well that goes down in history for some of the most interesting photos that I can’t even share here, ha! Hope you all enjoy!!
The boys were out getting slurpees when Aaron arrived – so jealous! That’s how we end weddings.
Nothing like showing some man leg.
I know, it’s true. I have a punch photo obsession.
In addition to a nice photo of each bridal party member solo, we did a silly photo. Of course the silly photos are my favorite!
Cutest caged monkeys ever!
I loved having their fancy car to drive them all around – great photo opp!
How do you sign a marriage license without a table? Officiant back table of course!
The groom’s family really had NO sense of humor. At all.
Emergency Dance Fuel (chocolate covered coffee beans) was such a fun favor for guests!
The toasts had some great poignant moments as well as hilarious moments including the groom being called “radiant”. Ha!
I can never resist cute kids at a wedding!
Grandma was driving the get-away car! (Just kidding)
Happy first few weeks of marriage you lovebirds! Many more happy moments to come!
